About me
I'm Murray, a Melbourne-based career counsellor with a passion for helping mid-career professionals find clarity and move forward with confidence.
I know that reaching a crossroads in your career can feel isolating and overwhelming. Whether you're looking for a new job, questioning your current path, contemplating a significant change, or simply unsure of what comes next - those feelings are more common than you might think, and you don't have to work through them alone.
My background
I hold a Graduate Certificate in Careers Education and Development from RMIT University and am an Associate member of the Career Development Association of Australia (CDAA). I’ve been helping people with career counselling and coaching since 2017. Alongside my private practice I currently work as a Careers Specialist at The University of Melbourne, where I support students and graduates navigating their own career journeys every day. You’re welcome to check out my career history by viewing my LinkedIn profile.
My approach
I take the time to really understand where you're at before we explore where you want to go. Sessions are collaborative, non-judgmental, and tailored to your individual situation. There's no one-size-fits-all advice here; just honest, practical support to help you gain clarity and build momentum.
A welcoming space for everyone
I'm committed to providing an inclusive and affirming experience for all clients. You are welcome here, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Let’s work together
If you're ready to take the next step or are just curious about whether career counselling is right for you, I'd love to hear from you!
